4. solemn ; feel very solemn to do this .
5. decree ; My mother decreed that I was grounded .
6. lamentation ; Everyone heard there pity lamentation .
7. ferociously ; That man's yell seemed very ferociously at that the time .
8. surmounted ; She surmounted her fear of clown's .
9. cowardice ; I had a lack of cowardice .
Don't forget to ALWAYS use a capital 'I' when referring to yourself.

Some of your sentences are quite fluent. I am rewording a couple for you to make them less awkward.
I had to be bumped up a grade because I completed excess work.
I was sprawling on the floor when I was being tickled.
As I got yelled at I sallied out of the room.
I feel very solemn about this.
Everyone heard their cry of lamentation.
That man yelled very ferociously at the time.
